அபிராமி அன்னையே! என்னுடைய குறைகள் யாவும் தீர உன் பாதம் சரணடைந்து வணங்குகின்றேன். நான் மறுபடியும் பிறவிடுத்தால் என் குறை அல்ல. உன்னுடைய குறையேயாகும். ஆகாயத்தில் தோன்றும் மின்னலை விட மெல்லிய இடையையுடையவளே! எம் தந்தை சிவபெருமான், தன் குறை தீர, தனது திருமுடி மேல் சாத்திய அழகிய பாதத் தாமரைகளையுடையவளே!

சயனம் பொருந்து தமனியக் காவினில் தங்குவரே.

முக்கண்களையுடைய சிவன், திருமால், பிரும்மா முதலானோரும் வணங்கக்கூடிய தேவி அபிராமியேயாவாயேயாவாள். அவளுடைய பாதங்களிலே சரண் என்றடைந்த அடியார்கள் இந்திர போகத்தை விரும்ப மாட்டார்கள். அரம்பை முதலான தேவ மகளிர் பாடி, ஆட, தங்க ஆசனமே கிட்டினாலும், அன்னையின் திருவடிச் சேவையையே பெரிதென நினைப்பார்கள்.
