Ganesha ~ The transcriber

The great sage Ved Vyasa was motivated by Brahma to write the Mahabharatha, which is considered to be the greatest religious epic in the world.

Vyasa required a scribe to record his verses as he composed them. Brahma encouraged him to seek Ganesha's assistance, saying that "only he can write as quickly as you dictate and without any mistake." Ganesha was the only one who could fulfill this need.

Vyasa prayed to Ganesha. Ganesha agreed to write for him. but only on the condition that once he starts, his quill does not stop.

Vysa gave his assent to the conditions on the condition that they included the following stipulation: "You can only write what you can comprehend or you must halt writing when you cannot comprehend it."

Vysa needed time to think and compose, and Ganesha agreed.

If Ganesha wrote too quickly, Vyasa would recite the most difficult verses for him, which Ganesha would take his time understanding and writing.

This is how the Mahabharat was composed in its entirety.

Happy Ganesha Chaturthi wishes to you all!!!
