Kuligai: Celestial Secrets

Ravana's wife Mandodari was pregnant. Ravana met his clan guru Sukracharya in the hope that the child could be born at any time. He asked him how she could give birth to a son with beauty and knowledge that no one could conquer.

In response, Shukracharya suggested, "If a child is born to you at a time when all the planets are in the same phase, that child will be endowed with all the qualities you desire." That's all, Ravana captured the Navagrahas and locked them in a single room. All the planets were in the same room. They rebuked Shukracharya for this idea. Being in the same place, they worried about the evils that would happen.

At the same time, Mandodari was experiencing severe pain during her delivery. Despite her pain, she couldn't give birth to the child.

When this news reached the Navagrahas, they feared that Ravana would punish them for it.

They sought the advice of Sukracharya in this regard. "But if you want to get rid of this trouble, it would be better for you to create a new one besides your nine for doing good, and to change a certain time each day to be under his rule.

At the same time as he is created, Mandodari gives birth to a child. And you can be free. "

Accordingly, Lord Saneeswara gave birth to a son to Jeshtadevi through his power while in prison.

At the same time as Kulikan's birth(Lord Saneeswara's son), a beautiful boy named Meganathan was born to Ravana.

Kullikan was praised by the Navagrahas for his good conduct right from his birth.

Since he had been engaged in good deeds since his birth, Kulikan was pleased with Lord Saneeswara.

Hence, the "Kulikai time" was designated to be given during both the day and night. At that time, it was also blessed as the 'Time of Development'. That is why it was said that whatever is done at this time will continue and the family will prosper.

Kulikai, endowed with the power of coolness, began every day by initiating good deeds.

Kulikan could be worshipped on Saturday evenings and mornings. When worshipping Saneeswara, you can think of him in your mind.

Hindus hold the belief that the deeds performed during the Kulikai period have a lasting impact. They only engage in positive and beneficial actions during the Kulikai time.
