Swaha is the wife of Lord Agni. She cannot be ignored while performing yagnas or sacrifices. Any Homams or rituals are completed only if the word swaha is uttered.
Goddess Swaha is the daughter of King Daksha and sister of Sati. She is also one of the godmothers of Lord Muruga.
Though there is no separate temple for goddess Swaha, praying to Lord Agni gives one both of their blessings. No pooja or yagna is ever complete without chanting Swaha.
