Yuyutsu's story stands out due to his principled decisions and moral character. Despite being born into the Kaurava family, which was in opposition to the Pandavas, Yuyutsu chose to side with the Pandavas during the great Kurukshetra War. He recognized the righteousness of the Pandavas' cause and wanted to stand against the injustices perpetrated by his own family.

He joined the Pandavas' side in the war and fought against his half-brothers.

Yuyutsu held the status of an Atirathi, a warrior who could simultaneously confront 12 Rathi-class fighters or 60,000 warriors.

He was the only son of Dhritarashtra who survived the Kurukshetra war.

Furthermore, he played a crucial role in assisting the Pandavas in governing Hastinapura following the culmination of the Mahabharata War. Additionally, he undertook the responsibility of tending to the elderly Dhritarashtra.

With the advent of the Kali Yuga and Krishna's departure, the Pandavas opted to step away from worldly matters. In this phase, Yudhishthira entrusted Yuyutsu with the task of managing the kingdom, while the young Parikshit was anointed as the reigning monarch.
